With the V2 kit, the Z1000 gets a new look. It displays a higher level of water protection. With two new parts designed and manufactured by Smolt & Co and integrated into your racing car, the Z1000 is ideal for all your journeys on wet or dry ground, or on wet roads.

Unlike its first version, it has been custom-built to withstand the weather and allow you to ride calmly in the rain.

This kit is invisible to the naked eye, and does not change the devastating look of your Z1000. In addition, it is adaptable on all first series of Z1000.

The price quoted includes only the kit. The installation of the kit must imperatively be carried out in our workshops. To do this, please contact your dealer or us, an estimate will be made depending on the condition of your product and return costs to be provided.

Waterproof design at the front

A subtle evacuation of water

Your kit comes with a second component at the front of the deck. This is a reinforced plate with a seal tested to provide excellent sealing. In front of this room, an empty cavity has an additional hole so that the water does not stagnate and can be evacuated while driving.

A finely tuned part fixing

The two parts present in the kit are fixed to the deck and sealed by a special automotive seal chosen by our services. It is resistant to high temperatures and has a great chemical inertia, so it offers you an excellent fixation of your parts.

Moreover, its composition allows an excellent impermeability of the deck, place which contains the battery and the controller.

HOW YOUR V2 KIT IS ?

A reinforced deck at the back

Smolt & Co has specially designed a room at the bottom of the deck. Its design reveals a cavity containing a waterproof and pierced gel to facilitate the passage of cables and prevent them from becoming water conductors.

It is an optimal protection of the electrical connections of your Z1000 against the humidity, and the water which could infiltrate there at high speeds posted on sodden pavement. This gel is an antioxidant and an anticorrosive.

It is heat-resistant, and revealed in tests a high resistance to the pressure of water. More specifically, this gel has dielectric and thermal characteristics, and prevents electric charges from moving macroscopically.

It is ideal and completely protects your deck from moisture or any jets of water likely to introduce it.

A DESIGN MADE FOR ALL USES

Reinforced deck seal

With this kit V2, Smolt & Co has made the choice to strengthen the seal of the hatch of the deck, already present on the first version of your Z1000. This seal, imagined and developed by the technical team, has been specifically designed to consolidate the Z1000's watertightness and ensure that there are no water intrusions or any other material .

Tested and approved, this seal is complementary to the two aforementioned parts. The battery and controller are housed in a perfectly sealed deck.

Materials studied for extreme conditions

Smolt & Co designed these parts in a plastic that is both very strong and flexible. Thanks to its mechanical properties, it displays after many tests resistance to high temperatures as well as to industrial fluids such as oil and hydrocarbons. In addition, they resist vibrations and shocks due to deformation of the roadway.
